Brittany Murphy died this morning in her west Hollywood home. She was 32. She went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Murphy starred in such films as “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” and “Don’t Say A Word.”

I received a hate email from teacher Robert Peverely in response to one on my blog entries from May of this year. This man is a teacher of young children. Be very afraid.

“Gay people are defined by what they get up to between the sheets?
By labeling yourself as “gay” you set yourself up to be defined by what you are doing between the sheets.

I don’t define myself as “heterosexual” – especially to my children (or anyone else’s)
Keep your sexuality to yourself, and especially keep your sexuality and everyone else’s away from my elementary school children.

The best way to create “hate” for your sexuality is to push it all over other people. I don’t want to share my sexual interest with you and I have no interest in yours.

I urge everyone who couldn’t give a crap about golf or Tiger, and those who do, to post the latest updates on Tiger’s affairs (if you pardon the pun) to ALL YOUR BRITS PALS. Britain is a democracy. This isn’t China.

Granted the British press are notorious and would rip Tiger to shreds…but does he really need any help with that? It isn’t so pretty for him right now. And Christ, I hate golf so I couldn’t really care less about it all until today. It’s like McDonalds all over again -gag order.

And before you all start spouting on about the wonders of free speech. I actually don’t agree with complete freedom of speech because in the USA we have liars and hate mongers from the far right who can say what the hell they want on national radio and TV. That’s wrong.
